Anger Management
Specialist Certification

Becoming a Certified Anger Management Specialist has many benefits, including:

1) Starting your own anger management program. Once you become certified through Anger Management Essentials, you are eligible to join NAMA as a CAMS-I or CAMS-II. You are also eligible to join CAAMP. Once your membership is accepted with NAMA, you have the option of having your name on their online directory for providers. Once you join CAAMP, you are eligible to have your company name on the CAAMP provider’s list which gets distributed to certain courts for anger management referrals. (Membership to NAMA starts at $125/year, and CAAMP is $100/year.)

2) Working for an agency that provides anger management services;

3) Implementing an anger management component into your treatment of private practice therapy clients.

Once you have completed the 3-day anger management training and are fully paid, you’ll receive a certificate of completion. Should you decide to join NAMA, you’ll receive a Certified Anger Management Specialist certificate I.
